Every dream has a flight plan. You just have to know how to build it.
I’m Meirav Caspi. From a girl who couldn’t find her place to a woman who flies planes and makes dreams come true that once seemed impossible.
Here I share the journey as it really is, the failures, the wins and everything that happens on the way to turning “someday” into reality.

It all started in Australia,
with a few dreams I wrote down for myself
so I could feel in control of my life again.
Since then, the list just keeps getting longer.
Some dreams I’ve already checked off, some are in my flight plan, and some I still have no clue how I’ll pull off, because it’s not their time yet.
And maybe that’s the whole point. Not knowing how yet, but knowing that one day it’ll be time to plan.
I wasn’t always someone who makes dreams come true.
I was the girl who never felt like she belonged, got held back a grade, tried to do everything I was “supposed” to do and still felt like something was missing.
At 31, I bought a ticket to Australia. I was searching for myself, and one day I just started writing. Without meaning to, my very first bucket list was born. A few things I wanted to do, places I wanted to see and experiences I wanted to feel.
I had no idea back then that this little list was about to change my life.
Since then I’ve crashed, started over, gotten my pilot’s license, built a business I can run from anywhere, and mostly figured out that I don’t have to wait for the life I want to just happen.
I can build it.
Conquered India, June 2019
When I learned to fly, I realized something that changed the way I look at dreams:
A plane doesn’t reach its destination just because the pilot wants to get there.
There’s a destination, a route, waypoints, a budget, time, prep, and sometimes a course change when something isn’t working.
So I started doing the same thing with my dreams.
I built myself a flight plan that breaks a big, scary dream into small goals you can start working on right now.
1 - The big dream
2 - Choosing the right route
3 - Writing down every step to the dream
4 - Breaking it into measurable, doable mini-steps
5 - Taking off to make it happen
The Dream Pyramid
The next dream
starts long before you get there
Big dreams don’t start the day you set out.
They start months, sometimes years, earlier, with a bunch of small goals you have to hit along the way.
Losing weight and building fitness
Physical and mental prep
Snow survival course in the US
Antarctica
Right now my flight plan is all about losing weight, building fitness and getting my body and head ready for one of my next goals: a snow survival course in the US.
It’s one of the first milestones on the way to something much bigger, but to me it’s a dream all on its own.
There's one huge dream I'm still keeping to myself.
It’s easy to show the photo from the summit.
What I care about just as much is the way up:
the things I learn, the places where I break, the people I meet and the person I become along the way.
In the journal I share what happens between the dreams:
the prep, the fears, the failures,
the course changes,
the people I meet along the way
and the moments when you can finally say:
“That’s it, I did it!”
Along the way I’ve been a guest on TV, radio and podcasts, talking about journeys, dreams, fears and choosing not to wait for “someday”.
My journey is just getting started.
Ahead of me are more training, goals, expeditions and dreams that will take me places I’ve never been, physically and mentally.
I’m looking for companies and brands who want to join the journey and build partnerships with me that are about a lot more than a logo on a T-shirt.
If you also believe in big dreams, grit and people who are willing to work for what they truly want, maybe we have a great story to create together.
I still don’t know what this whole story will look like a few years from now.
And that’s part of the fun.
Every now and then I send out something from the road: a new post, a dream that moved forward, a goal checked off, something that failed or a flight plan that changed completely.
If you want to see where all of this is going, join the journey:
